The Los Angeles Rams can’t replace Aaron Donald, which is a phrase you’ve probably heard 5,631 times since Aaron Donald retired. I guess we’re just going to go the rest of eternity stating the obvious because it “sounds better” than saying that you have to literally replace elite players when they leave. Regardless of how much worse the new players are, that’s what happens...you replace them.
It’s like, if you start making less money and you sell your house to buy a less expensive one, you know you can never replace that home. But you still have to live somewhere!
