The LA Rams can’t get away from Jared Goff’s salary cap hit in 2021, but will they evaluate ways to part with the quarterback himself? That’s the question surrounding the team and the position after being eliminated by the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, ending their 2020 season and propelling head coach Sean McVay into the first phase of preparing for 2021. When asked if Goff would be the starter next season over the weekend, McVay wouldn’t commit to the franchise’s “franchise” quarterback.
“Everything’s being evaluated,” McVay said on Sunday in a conference call.
