Putting the Rams passing game under the microscope

The St. Louis Rams are now touting the league’s 21st ranked offense. It’s not easy to be that average, but somehow the Rams have pulled it off, but when you look at the numbers it’s not all that surprising. A team predicated on running the football has produced an inept offense and is now feeling the strain. The passing game has failed to help the running game and vice-versa.

After opening the season with a 34-point performance against the vaunted Seattle Seahawks defense, it’s been all down hill from there. It’s obvious this team is going to rely heavily on there defense to carry them through the early part of the 2015 season, but they have spent too much time on the field in the past two weeks to be effective in the latter stages of the game.
