As far as results go, it’s been a tough six weeks for Jared Goff. The rookie quarterback has played up and down with no wins, last week finishing with just 90 yards passing on 24 attempts with a touchdown and two interceptions.
While an 0-6 record to start one’s career is certainly not ideal, it’s also not the be-all, end-all. Much like Cal’s 1-11 record in Goff’s freshman year is not how he’s remembered as a college player, offensive coordinator Rob Boras said he expects the same will be true of Goff’s time in the NFL.
