The LA Rams beat the New England Patriots 24-3 on Thursday and they’re one blown fourth quarter lead away from having won five games in a row. Even still, the Rams are 9-4, in first place in the NFC West and if they beat the New York Jets next Sunday, they’ll be one Week 16 victory away from reclaiming the division title.
The biggest takeaways from the win have centered around the sensational play of rookie running back Cam Akers (171 rushing yards), a monumental 79-yard pick-six by linebacker Kenny Young and a pass rush led by Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers that forced Patriots head coach Bill Belichick to bench Cam Newton.
