De’Mornay Pierson-El, a wide receiver and kick returner with the BattleHawks of the XFL, has spent a good amount of time bouncing around professional football since his playing days at the University of Nebraska wrapped up in 2017.
After college, he signed as undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins in May of 2018, but was waived soon thereafter. He then signed and played in just one game with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. Next, it was off to the Salt Lake Stallions of the now-defunct Alliance of American Football. In eight games, he led the Stallions in receptions (36) and receiving yards (414).
