Well, it didn’t take long after video evidence surfaced to reframe the narrative out of the Pittsburgh assault story. ESPN revealed via multiple outlets, Adam Schefter on Facebook and Instagram, and Lindsey Thiry on ESPN’s webpage, that DeVincent Spriggs mistook LA Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald for the assailant who caused him to receive treatment at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The Attorney representing Spriggs, Todd J. Hollis, had originally named Aaron Donald as the assailant that left his client with a broken orbital bone and 16 stitches.
