GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Sean Richardson has been placed on season-ending injured reserve by the Green Bay Packers after the safety suffered his second neck injury in three years.
The fourth-year player, a reserve, got hurt in practice last week and missed the 24-10 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Green Bay signed tight end Justin Perillo off the practice squad to take Richardson's place on the roster. Perillo will add depth at a position that will be without veteran Andrew Quarless for at least another six weeks because of a left knee injury.
