Orlando Pace grew up in Sandusky, Ohio, not far from the Professional Football Hall of Fame.
He said his first visit to the Football Hall of Fame came after playing in a basketball tournament in Canton. He decided right then and there that someday he would be a member of the club.
“This represents the fulfillment of each and every goal I set for myself in football since the age of 13,” said Pace of being inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday.
“No matter how humble a man’s beginnings, success is possible if you have the courage to truly believe, the integrity to work as hard as you possibly can to sustain, and the mental and physical stamina required not just for one season but for an entire career.
