Having come into the league as an unheralded sixth-round pick out of Florida Atlantic, Morris has built a solid reputation on durability and consistency. Morris’ 1,613 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns as a rookie in 2012 were an integral piece of the Washington offense that also saw quarterback Robert Griffin III win Offensive Rookie of the Year. Of course, that team also won the NFC East.
Now in just his fourth season, Morris has already done enough to become Washington’s all-time franchise leader in rushing average at 4.53 yards per carry. That’s no joke on a team with good history and tradition.
