At the age of 39, Brady is an icon. Because the Rams and Patriots play only once every four years, he’s an unfamiliar as an on-field opponent. But because of the longevity of his career, he’s a player many on the Rams grew up watching.
“I remember playing with Tom Brady on Madden,” defensive back Lamarcus Joyner said. “You play with him as your quarterback, you’re going to the Super Bowl every year.”
“I’ve been a big fan of his growing up,” quarterback Jared Goff said. “Obviously, he’s one of the greats — if not the greatest.
