When the LA Rams approached the podium with their 252nd pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, it was with the understanding that the Rams would need to make this one count. After a draft that harvested 50 percent skill players to a team that many believed to be saturated with offensive weapons.
The Rams have plenty of talented players to choose from. After all, this was a draft that had no consensus, which exaggerated the historic trend of one man’s trash becoming another man’s treasure. With players of such diverse 2020 NCAA college seasons and limited access to NFL teams, the opinions of many prospects ran the gamut from a late day one prospect all the way to a priority undrafted free agent signing.
