The Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club is celebrating its 57th anniversary by taking time to toss accolades at volunteers and students.
The event is at 1 p.m., Sunday, at the club, 4245 N. Kingshighway Blvd. Doors open at noon.
One of the marquee names to be honored is that of STLer Ezekiel Elliott, star running back for the NFL franchise in Dallas. Elliott is an alumnus of the club's Bulldog football program who has continued to support the program.
Irasa Downing will receive the meritorious service award; and Lou Gianquinto of Missouri Care Inc.
