• According to Jason Cole of B/R, the rumors of Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon being selected in the first round are “highly questionable“, citing a survey where eight NFL owners indicated that they would not allow their team to draft Mixon in the first round.
• However, five of the eight owners said they would consider Mixon later in the draft, depending on where he is available.
• In the end, the problem for owners in drafting Mixon would be giving any indication that they are okay with his past domestic violence incident, which should come as no surprise.
