The first coronavirus-related disruption of Super Bowl week came Monday when the Kansas City Chiefs placed wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and backup center Daniel Kilgore on their COVID-19 reserve list.
They had not tested positive for the coronavirus and were put on the list after being classified as high-risk close contacts, according to a person familiar with the situation. They are subject to five-day quarantines, under the protocols developed by the league and the NFL Players Association. Both would be eligible to play in Sunday's Super Bowl, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, if they do not test positive in the meantime.
