ST. LOUIS • Gov. Jay Nixon’s new stadium task force faces steep market challenges in its fight to keep a National Football League team here — low ticket prices, low ticket sales and a the lack of a “robust regional area” from which to draw new fan and corporate support, according to an NFL study released on Tuesday.
Still, the market survey showed, a new riverfront stadium would draw about $200 million in the sale of Personal Seat Licenses, plenty to meet the task force’s financial plan, which originally called for between $120 million to $130 million from such sales.
