But for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky of North Carolina, that won’t take much. Longtime personnel guru Gil Brandt says ideally, incoming NFL quarterbacks should have about 30 college starts.
Well, Trubisky has 13.
The man nicknamed “Mr. Biscuit” was Mr. Football in Ohio, playing his high school ball at Mentor just a half-hour northeast of Cleveland.
In college, he redshirted in 2013 at North Carolina, then backed up Marquise Williams there in 2014 and 2015.
