The NFL announced on Thursday that they are cancelling the Hall of Fame game and Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony, which was set to take place on August 6 and 8 in Canton, Ohio. Among those who had their induction speech and enshrinement delayed is former Rams receiver Isaac Bruce, whereas the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers just had their first preseason game canceled.
More cancellation announcements could be coming soon.
The NFL is set to have a conference call between owners on Thursday afternoon according to Mark Maske of The Washington Post, at which point they could cut the preseason schedule in half because of the coronavirus pandemic, as has been the rumor.
