ST. LOUIS • A well known former NFL agent from Ladue is due more than $14.8 million to settle claims sparked from his 2014 firing by the international sports and talent agency CAA, court filings recently made public say.
CAA Sports LLC filed a sealed lawsuit Nov. 5 to overturn an arbitrator's decision in the case. The response, by lawyers for Ben Dogra last week, provide the first public detail of the events surrounding Dogra's firing and the compensation now due to him. CAA Sports is an arm of Creative Artists Agency.
Lawyers on both sides did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment Monday.
