INDIANAPOLIS • John Fox says the Bears have done more erasing than anything else with respect to the roster during his first two seasons as head coach in Chicago. The idea was to get younger, while hopefully getting better at the same time.
After finishing near the bottom of the league in both scoring offense (29th) and total offense (28th) last season, the Bears need to do a lot of addition in order to become a factor in the NFC North.
"We were a 6-10 team (in 2015) and a 3-13 team (in 2016), and we have a lot of improving to do," Fox said Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine.
