IRVINE, Calif. -- Lessons are there to be learned at NFL training camps and not just for wide-eyed rookies.
On the second day of Los Angeles Rams camp, veteran receiver/returner Tavon Austin was carted off at the end of practice Sunday because he was dehydrated. He had neglected to eat lunch before practice.
"That was the first time I did that," Austin said Monday. "I made sure I ate today. I'm about to go eat right now, so I'll make sure I'm good for tomorrow.
"It was kind of like I ran out of time a little bit.
