JEFFERSON CITY • A dispute between the Rams and the public board that governs the St. Louis-area facilities where the team once played and practiced will not be settled by the state's highest court.
In a ruling issued Tuesday, the Missouri Supreme Court unanimously said a battle over the Rams’ former practice field in Earth City must be decided through arbitration rather than in a courtroom.
The team and the Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority are fighting over a clause in their contract that would allow the team to buy the 27-acre practice facility for $1 in 2024.
