Are you a Kansas City Chiefs fan? Then you probably were happy with the decisions of the local television programmers this NFL season. But if you don’t care for the Chiefs, it was a much different feel.
That’s because 10 of their regular-season games ended up being televised in the St. Louis on Sunday afternoons, when the networks and local stations have numerous games from which to choose to show. Add three more KC telecasts in prime time, when there are no other games from which to pick, and St. Louis indeed was a major outpost in “Chiefs Kingdom” — the team’s marketing moniker.
