The Rams dumped St. Louis in January, and this weekend St. Louis TV will dump the Rams.
Following a dismal ratings performance last weekend, the Fox network and local affiliate KTVI have decided to send a non-Rams game to the market this weekend. Channel 2 is set to air the Detroit-Green Bay game rather than the Rams-Tampa Bay contest on Sunday, when Fox shows only one NFL game in each market.
It will be the first time in more than six years that a Rams regular-season game has not been televised in St. Louis. Their final outing of the 2009 season was blacked out because of low ticket sales, but the ensuing 98 games have been shown — including their two this season.
