Demand for tickets for the club’s first home game in Southern California since leaving for St. Louis after the 1994 season has been so high that additional seating is being made available, according to the Los Angeles Times.
About 70,000 season tickets have been sold, and the team had intended to limit the total crowd to about 80,000 per game this season as it plays in the mammoth Los Angeles Coliseum — where some seats are far from the field.
