The hype machine already is spinning rapidly.
The Rams begin training camp in about three weeks and there will be hoopla surrounding the team’s return to Southern California unlike anything that enveloped the club in its 21 seasons in St. Louis, including the Michael Sam hullabaloo of 2014.
E! Entertainment Television officials announced this week that they will produce a six-episode “Hollywood & Football” reality series set to air this fall that will focus on several Rams and their spouses/girlfriends making the transition.
That sounds like fluff and frills compared to “Hard Knocks,” a no-nonsense staple of the summer sports programming calendar that this time will focus on the Rams — as previously announced.
