Defensive tackle may have felt good in his return to game action on Sunday, but he was far from satisfied with his performance in the Rams’ 27-20 loss to the Redskins.
“It definitely felt good being back on the field playing football,” Donald said postgame, “but I didn’t play too good.”
“I didn’t win my one-on-ones,” he added. “When I have one-on-ones I usually win those, just doing too much thinking. And you can try to say that [it was because] I didn't play. But that’s on me — I need to play better.”
Head coach Sean McVay, however, did not appear worried with the fourth-year pro’s showing against Washington.
