On the field, Rodney McLeod is always going at full speed, but for the 2015 Steps for Hope Walk/Fun run hosted by the Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis, he took his time getting to know those in attendance and their accompanying stories.
The Rams safety served as an honorary chair for the event, which celebrates cancer survivors, honors the memories of loved ones and supports the services and programs that Cancer Support Community St. Louis offers at no charge to area residents impacted by cancer.
“It’s good for people to realize that they’re not the only ones going through something,” McLeod said.
