First, they unexpectedly brought back lifetime Ram, defensive lineman Michael Brockers to a three-years deal. A week ago, Brockers was considered a former Ram, agreeing to terms with the Baltimore Ravens. After an issue with his ankle, the Baltimore deal blew up and Brockers quickly went back to the Rams the team that drafted him in the first round in 2012.
The joy was subdued some later Friday when kicker Grge Zuerlein, who spent his entire eight-season career with the Rams, signed with Dallas. It ended an era and left big kicking hole for the Rams.
