Los Angeles Rams WR Mike Thomas Changes Jersey Number to Honor Grandmother

It’s no secret the Los Angeles Rams are in desperate need of improvement for their passing game heading into 2017 to help make life easier for Jared Goff heading into his first full season as the starter after the offense averaged just 14 points per game last year. While the pressure will certainly be on for players like Tavon Austin and Robert Woods to live up to their contracts, the one name to keep an eye on will be second-year wideout Mike Thomas.

The former Southern Miss star was selected in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Rams, and even though he only caught three passes for 37 yards, Los Angeles hopes to see more production from Thomas on offense and special teams in 2017.
