Los Angeles Rams’ WR Brandin Cooks progressing through concussion protocol

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks beautifully hauled in a one-handed catch on a critical 3rd and 8 play early in the 4th quarter during Thursday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, immediately upon hitting the ground Cooks laid motionless having apparently slammed his head on the turf.

Cooks walked off the field under his own power and headed straight to the locker room where he was evaluated for a concussion. He did not return to the game.

On Friday, Rams’ head coach Sean McVay provided a status update:

He’s doing good.
