Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley deserves all of the credit in the world for putting together the kind of season he did in 2017 when looking at all of the struggles from the year before.
As bad as it sounds, there were plenty of Rams fans that were ready to give up on Gurley after his sophomore campaign consisted of just 885 rushing yards, and six touchdowns, although it wasn’t entirely the running back’s fault.
Thanks to Los Angeles addressing their needs with the offensive line by signing Andrew Whitworth along with improving the receiving corps to help take some of the pressure off Jared Goff, Gurley was able to take advantage of playing in an improved offense last year.
