Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley was dealing with some extra pressure around this time last year, as the former Georgia star was coming off a season to forget in 2016 where he failed to record a single 100-yard rushing game.
When considering the hype one season after taking home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, it was easy to understand some of the frustration towards Gurley, but also it wasn’t entirely his fault.
Between the Rams as a team struggling for the most part by averaging just 14 points per game along with a poor offensive line and a weak receiving corps, it’s easy to understand why Gurley struggled as much as he did.
