The Los Angeles Rams knew they were taking a risk on former Western Kentucky standout Tyler Higbee by selecting him in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft–mainly because of his arrest last April. Every other team wanted to avoid Higbee due to their concerns over his off the field issues, but if Saturday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys is any indication, the Rams could turn out to have one of the biggest steals from this year’s class.
Higbee–who caught eight touchdowns as a senior–was already generating plenty of hype heading into the team’s preseason opener against the Cowboys and rightfully so after the way he’s played over the last few weeks in training camp.
