To say emotions ran high for some players selected in the 2018 NFL Draft would be a huge understatement after seeing all of the reactions from over the weekend, some of which came from the newest members of the Los Angeles Rams. Without question, one of the new rookies for the Rams to be most excited about is Tennessee’s John Kelly, as the running back is expected to compete with Malcolm Brown and Justin Davis for time in the backfield as a backup to Todd Gurley.
Obviously, a selection like this won’t give Gurley any reason for concern since Los Angeles is thrilled more than ever to see how their star running back follows up his monster 2017 season in which he finished second to Tom Brady for the MVP award.
