The Los Angeles Rams have declared RB Todd Gurley out for Sunday’s Week 6 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
While Gurley was listed “doubtful” on the final injury report, they’ve gone ahead and just ruled him out and made subsequent roster transactions to ensure protection at running back.
With RB Malcolm Brown and rookie RB Darrell Henderson, Jr., looking to take the workload at running back, the Rams needed to staff the RB3 slot. So they’ve promoted RB John Kelly from the practice squad.
