Los Angeles Rams starting Right Guard Jamon Brown has been suspended without pay for the first two games of the 2018 season for violating the leagues policy on substance abuse, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
Although Brown is slated to miss the home opener against the Oakland Raiders and the following week against the Arizona Cardinals, he will be able to return week three (September 17th) against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Losing a player that started 30 games in three seasons, 16 of which came in the 2017 season, could be a blow to an offense that had all five offensive linemen start 15 games last season.
