Los Angeles Rams running back Malcolm Brown is one of many players on the team fighting to make a strong case for a spot on the 53-man roster for the upcoming season. Through two preseason games, Brown has certainly made a strong case and what helps his case even more is the fact he’s currently the rushing leader with 134 yards.
Normally, this kind of statistic wouldn’t be meaningful for preseason action, but being the leader through two games is something the Rams will strongly consider when making roster cuts down the road. Thanks to Tre Mason making the decision to skip training camp and go to Florida instead, Los Angeles has an extra position open at the running back position.
