The Los Angeles Rams announced this morning that they had waived linebacker Ejuan Price and filled his roster spot with Carlos Thompson.
The Rams took a 7th round flier on Price, an undersized but talented pass rusher from Pitt. It’s a strategy the Rams have used to much success (see Donald, Aaron), but Price wasn’t able to do enough with the Rams to overcome his stature and injury history.
Thompson was an undrafted free agent in 2015 and was picked up by the Houston Texans. He was waived last year by the Texans and will get a chance to augment a lackluster Rams pass rush in Los Angeles.
