Los Angeles Rams Play it Safe With One-Year Deal For Lance Dunbar

When considering the team was in need of a backup running back to Todd Gurley, there was excitement surrounding the Los Angeles Rams meeting with Lance Dunbar on Wednesday. Turns out, the meeting was a success after the team was able to convince the former Dallas Cowboys running back to come on board for the 2017 season.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan reported on Thursday morning how Dunbar and the Rams agreed to a one-year deal, which could work out well for both parties. Like other free agents from this year’s class, the one-year deal for Dunbar will provide the running back with an opportunity to prove himself during the 2017 season, and after seeing the last two years, there’s obviously a small reason for concern.
