It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Rams have a boatload of pending free agents in March, and defensive tackle Michael Brockers is one of the more important players slated to reach the open market for the first time in his career.
Since Rodger Saffold’s departure last season, Brockers — alongside P Johnny Hekker, LS Jake McQuaide, and K Greg Zuerlein — is the longest tenured Ram remaining.
Originally drafted in 2012 in the first round, Brockers has become a mainstay on the defensive line at 0/1-technique in the 4-3 defense and at 0/shade/5-technique in Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips’ defense.
