While there were plenty of players behind the success of the Los Angeles Rams overtaking the Seattle Seahawks to win the NFC West, one of the players that kind of snuck under the radar was Pharoh Cooper on special teams.
In just his second season, the former South Carolina star led the league by averaging 27.4 yards per kick return, which even landed Cooper a trip to the Pro Bowl for the first time.
Over the years, special teams has always been a major strength of Los Angeles since John Fassel is considered one of the best coaches in the business, and seeing Cooper quickly develop into the kind of threat that he is as a returner is truly amazing.
