Los Angeles Rams come up short in NFL.com award predictions

Over at NFL.com, they have a group of analysts who put together their 2018 NFL season award predictions, and to say they’re not seeing many accolades for the Los Angeles Rams might be an understatement.

With a crew of 22 voters predicting the MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, they tallied 154 total votes. The Rams represented just one of those votes.

Yes, despite Rams Head Coach Sean McVay winning Coach of the Year in 2017 and RB Todd Gurley winning Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and DL Aaron Donald winning Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 with QB Jared Goff acting as a dark horse for an award candidacy in 2018, the lone vote involving the Rams was one vote for Donald to repeat as DPOY.
