The Los Angeles Rams find themselves in an interesting situation heading into the third preseason game at the No. 2 cornerback position–mainly because the competition appears to be wide open.
With Janoris Jenkins signing with the New York Giants in the offseason, the starting job alongside Trumaine Johnson has been up for grabs and with numerous players in consideration, nobody seems to have a clear advantage at this point. Lamarcus Joyner is one of those players with the potential to win the starting job, but his ejection from the team’s second preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs certainly didn’t help his cause.
