On Tuesday, there was concern surrounding Dominique Easley of the Los Angeles Rams after the defensive tackle was carted off the practice field from what appeared to be a serious leg injury. Unfortunately, that major concern was confirmed on Wednesday, as Wade Phillips and the rest of the Rams’ defense will have to adjust to playing the upcoming season without Easley.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday morning what Los Angeles feared the most, which is that Easley will be out for the entire year due to a torn ACL. As bad as it sounds, there was a high level of concern about how this was the serious injury suffered by Easley since he has an unfortunate history of torn ACLs.
