Between making Sean McVay the youngest head coach in NFL history to bringing defensive mastermind Wade Phillips on board, it’s been a busy offseason for the Los Angeles Rams when it comes to putting together their coaching staff for the 2017 season. Despite all of the big changes, the Rams still need to figure out their plan at offensive coordinator, but according to a recent report, the team seems to have their eyes set on Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur.
Even though he’s never been responsible for the offensive coordinator position at the NFL level, it’s tough to ignore the success LaFleur’s seen over the last two years working under Kyle Shanahan with the Falcons.
