Over the last few weeks, the Los Angeles Rams have been quite busy in free agency to make sure the team does whatever it takes to bounce back from last year’s disappointing 4-12 finish by making numerous key additions on both sides of the football. Not only is there plenty of excitement surrounding the hiring of the youngest head coach in NFL history with Sean McVay, but the defense looks to hit a whole new level now that Wade Phillips is on board as the defensive coordinator.
Phillips’ resume alone is enough to be excited about what’s in store for Los Angeles on the defensive side of the football in 2017, especially since he gets the opportunity to work with one of the best players the league has to offer in Aaron Donald.
