CANTON, OHIO • Timing was everything for linebacker Kevin Greene, whether it was figuring out how to beat an offensive tackle on the way to the quarterback or being part of the NFL’s first free agency class in 1993.
And finally, after a long wait, the timing is right for the Granite City South High product to join the best of the best in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Greene will be inducted Saturday as part of a strong class that includes St. Louis Rams left tackle Orlando Pace, quarterback Brett Favre, wide receiver Marvin Harrison, and coach Tony Dungy.
