The Los Angeles Rams’ front office is apparently not very happy over their 2019 record of 9-7. When NFL front offices are unhappy, coaches lose jobs. Earlier in the day, defensive coordinator Wade Phillips was informed he would not be back in 2020. Now Yahoo Sports senior NFL reporter Charles Robinson is reporting that the LA Rams no longer require the services of running backs coach Skip Peete.
This is a huge decision by the Rams. You see, running back Todd Gurley lobbied hard to retain Peete when former head coach Jeff Fisher was fired.
