Stan Kroenke is a villain in St. Louis because he moved the Rams out of town four years ago, mean-mouthing the city on his way out of town. But while he might not be a hero in Los Angeles, the market to which he moved the NFL team back to, he has been greeted with open arms and now has received a big accolade there.
The Los Angels Business Journal has named Kroenke its “Business Person of the Year,” and he is the subject of a lengthy story from veteran LA sportswriter Tom Hoffarth.
“Kroenke is usually reluctant to talk with the media, but he spoke extensively with the Business Journal from his Denver office on a range of topics,” Hoffarth writes in introducing the piece.
